Plex you do not have access to this server. Turns out it’s a common issue and I need to reclaim. Side note - I was running plex on a PC with an external HD that housed all the files. I never even got the chance to actually setup the server , by using the Plex Server App for Mac. See full list on howtogeek. To do this you need to edit /etc/ssh/sshd_config and uncomment (remove the "#") the line that says #PermitRootLogin prohibit-password, and change prohibit-password to yes. If you see "Not authorized - You do not have access to this server" when trying to access your Plex server, you may need to reclaim a token or restart the server.
