In some contexts, the bolts on sport climbs are quipped with permanent draws you can use for an anchor. There are three lengths you could use for a quad: 120 cm, 180 cm, and 240 cm. Then clip each two-stranded loop into your two smallest/weakest pieces. While there's nothing inherently wrong with this, it is big and bulky. The original material, suggested by John Long in his book “Climbing Anchors”, was a cordelette. The Quad is an anchor system which self-adjusts to keep an equal force on each anchor point.
